A Elephant Parade é a maior exposição de arte em estátuas de elefante do mundo e acontece pela primeira vez na America Latina em Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. Além de ser uma linda exposição ao ar livre , parte da renda dos leilões das estátuas é revertida em prol da conservação e resgate de elefantes.

São estátuas do tamanho de um bebe elefante de verdade entregues a artistas selecionados para participar deste grande evento.

Tive a honra de ter sido selecionada dentre centenas de inscritos para participar, em conjunto com outros artistas de talento desta estréia da Elephant Parade na America Latina!

Meu projeto foi inspirado pelo mar e fauna marinha de Florianópolis e em especial pelo projeto Tamar de resgate e preservação de tartarugas que tem grande importância na ilha.

Foram 3 dias intensos de pintura ao vivo no atelier de São José em Florianópolis e finalmente o Tatá, meu elefantinho, ficou pronto e foi transportado com a manada para o dia do grande evento de lançamento na badalada praia de Jurerê Internacional.

Elephant Parade is the biggest art statues open air exhibition of elephants in the world and is happening for the first time now at Latin America, the city of Florianópolis, Brazil, receive this beautiful event till April 2016. Is not only a wonderful open air exhibition, but also part of the auction funds are directed for elephants preservation organizations.

The statue is equal in size to a real baby elephant and are given to the selected artists for this event to work .

I have the honor of being selected among hundreds of artists who inscribed their projects all around Brazil , to be part of this great event along with other talented selected artists.

My project was inspired by the ocean life the surrounds the beautiful Florianopolis island and the turtles conservation program located there, Tamar project.

After intense 3 days painting at the atelier located in Florianopolis city, Tatá , my baby elephant finnaly is ready and being transported to the big opening that will happen at the famous Jurere international beach resort.
